Why the 12 Month Money Challenge Saving's Charts Suck

I love Saving money. A few years ago I came across this chart. I thought hey that's a great idea!!! I made it till March. Then lost interest/ decided I needed to go shopping/ buy more junk I didn't need. I had access to the money so I spend it. Challenge Failed

 Want to know an easier way to save money?
Get in your car and go see your banker. Set up automatic deductions out of your paycheck. Most people are paid every two weeks. Which means you get 26 paychecks a year. Go see you Banker and set up $40 to automatically go into savings every payday. And you are done. You just put $1040 a year up into savings.
